Distance Education Student Primer
Do you have students who aren't sure what to expect from distance education? Refer them to the Distance Education Student Primer. This little handbook contains valuable information about studying at a distance. Topics include time management, student accountability, online communication skills, online community, research and resources, technology considerations, and study habits and skills.

Advancing Learning, Closing the Distance: A Partnership for Faculty Development and Program Assessment
Describes teaching and learning approaches that have used a rich variety of technologies - from live television to the Web, from one-way video and two-way audio to full audio/video interactivity. The casebook describes some good lessons learned, and it will be very helpful to any educator who is contemplating going the distance education route.
