Course Description

This graduate-level course will focus on book-collections and series by classic British and American authors, picture-books and chapter-books, of almost every decade, including: Beatrix Potter, L.M. Montgomery, Dr. Seuss, C.S. Lewis, Roald Dahl, Mildred Taylor, Chris Van Allsburg, Christopher Paul Curtis, Eve Bunting, and J.K. Rowling. The class will read representative books of each author's oeuvre, discussed through Canvas Discussions, while individual students will cover most of the author's major works for their semester-long research project, shared creatively and visually with the class through a Canvas Wiki Page.
